FASE TESTER is a portable equipment, which allows easy and safe AC voltage readings, phase-phase or phase-ground, in distribution systems from 1kV through 48 kV.
The basic unit includes a voltmeter that reads from 1kV through 16kV, a reel with a 6.6 meters, 15 kV protected cable, assembled on two RITZGLAS® sticks, which are high impedance parts, necessary to allow readings to be made.
FASE TESTER is operated via RITZGLAS® pair of universal sticks, by a single lineman.
For voltages of 16kV and up, the use of extension resistors is necessary, which are supplied in pairs and available for voltages up to 48 kV. In This case, the reading of the voltmeter has to be multiplied by 3.
FASE TESTER permits comparison between the voltages of the 3 phase-system necessary to interconnect energized feeders.
